Loquillo on His Move to San Sebastián

Spanish rock artist Loquillo has explained in an interview with Diario Vasco that he moved from Barcelona to San Sebastián to 'escape a collapse'. He stated that he has lived in San Sebastián through 'the era of violence and the end of violence', and that over the years he has 'matured'. The singer emphasized that he feels like a 'Basque citizen' and that the city treats him 'very well' without him feeling 'overwhelmed'. However, despite his love for the city, he has also been critical, 'in the same way he was with Barcelona'. Loquillo noted that his decision was seen by some as something negative, while others saw it as 'well, that's what it was'. 'Perhaps San Sebastián has discovered that it has the same problems as any other European city,' he said. He also mentioned that due to his move, he had to endure 'many unpleasant situations' where even some people told him he was 'crazy'. Currently, the artist is working on his next project: 'I can say that I am these days singing with the 'Dream Team' of national music'.
